Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Type: Contract | Patient-Facing | Safety-Sensitive

Schedule

  • 20 hours per week
  • 8 hours per day
  • Schedules created in 6-week blocks following the initial 3-week training/orientation period
  • Typical schedule includes 2-3 weekdays and every other weekend
  • Availability to work select major holidays is required
  • Actual hours based on clinic operational needs

Standard Operating Hours

  • Monday-Friday: 8:30 AM - 1:30 PM and 2:30 PM - 7:30 PM
  • Saturday: 9:00 AM - 1:30 PM and 2:00 PM - 5:30 PM
  • Sunday: 9:00 AM - 1:30 PM and 2:00 PM - 4:30 PM


Position Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and clinically skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, evidence-based patient care in a fast-paced outpatient healthcare setting. The RN will perform patient assessments, administer treatments and medications, support preventive healthcare initiatives, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure positive patient outcomes.

This is a patient-facing, safety-sensitive role that requires strong clinical judgment, exceptional communication skills, and experience working in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room environments.


Key Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
  • Screenshot of RN License required.
    • Compact licenses must be issued from the candidate's primary state of residence.
    • License must be in good standing with no current or prior disciplinary actions.
  • Screenshot of current BLS Certification required.
    • BLS certification expiration date must be at least 30 days beyond the anticipated start date.
  • Patient-facing position.
  • Ability to work the required schedule.


Responsibilities

  • Administer oral, injectable, intravenous, and topical medications.
  • Assess patient conditions and monitor treatment effectiveness.
  • Monitor, interpret, and document vital signs and identify abnormalities.
  • Perform routine health assessments and wellness evaluations.
  • Coordinate patient access to healthcare services and community resources.
  • Educate patients on medication management, disease prevention, and self-care techniques.
  • Conduct medication reviews to identify potential drug interactions and side effects.
  • Perform mental health screenings and assess mood, behavior, and cognitive status.
  • Accurately document patient history, assessments, treatments, and outcomes within electronic medical records.
  • Perform phlebotomy, vaccine administration, and point-of-care testing.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and adequately stocked clinical environment.
  • Collaborate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to deliver quality care.


Required Qualifications

Experience

  • Minimum one (1) year of nursing experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Previous experience in:
    • Primary Care
    • Urgent Care
    • Emergency Room (ER)

Skills

  • Experience with:
    • Phlebotomy
    • Vaccine Administration
    • Point-of-Care Testing
  • Proficiency with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
  • Epic EMR experience preferred.
  • Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical decision-making skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Education

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
  • Active RN License in the state of employment.
