Warehouse & Delivery Associate

• Approximately 70% warehouse and fabrication duties
• Approximately 30% driving

Location: South Charlotte, NC
Pay: $19.00/hour
Schedule:

• Standard hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Alternate shift as needed: 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Position Overview Warehouse & Delivery Associate

This role supports the daily operations of a commercial and industrial insulation distributor. The work includes fabrication, warehouse responsibilities, and local driving. The position is hands-on and requires flexibility, reliability, and a strong focus on safety and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities Warehouse & Delivery Associate

• Fabricate insulation materials by cutting fiberglass or ceramic fiber insulation (soft materials) into strips based on order specifications
• Work with insulation provided in rolls, blankets, boards, and boxed or bagged materials
• Operate a band saw for fabrication tasks (experience preferred, not required)
• Pull and prepare customer orders accurately
• Load and unload materials using a forklift or manually, depending on the load
• Drive 16-foot or 26-foot box trucks for local deliveries
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed
• Interact professionally with customers during deliveries and pickups

Work Environment & Safety Fabrication & Delivery Associate

• Distribution-focused operation — insulation is typically boxed or bagged, not loose handling
• PPE required: Tyvek suit, gloves, and safety glasses provided
• Team-based environment with shared responsibilities

Requirements Fabrication & Delivery Associate

• Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
• Current DOT Medical Card (preferred at time of hire)
• Ability to be reliable, punctual, and present every scheduled workday
• Comfortable performing multiple job functions throughout the day
• Strong work ethic and team-focused attitude

Preferred (Not Required) Fabrication & Delivery Associate

• Forklift certification
• Band saw or fabrication experience
• Current medical card at start
