**Join Our Dynamic Team as an Acute Care Radiology Tech!** **Job Description:** - Are you passionate about making a difference in the healthcare field? - Join a vibrant team as an Acute Care Radiology Technologist and provide crucial X-Ray services that assist in diagnosis and treatment. - Perfect for those looking to elevate their career in an engaging and supportive environment! **Key Responsibilities:** - Perform radiographic exams as requested by healthcare providers. - Conduct fluoroscopic diagnostic and therapeutic procedures alongside radiology providers. - Assist with US guided paracentesis, thoracentesis, and arthrocentesis procedures. - Educate patients on preparation and post-care for radiology procedures. - Support radiology nursing in fluoroscopically guided PICC placements. - Carry out C-arm fluoroscopy exams in the OR as per surgeon requests. - Ensure accurate documentation for proper interpretation, reporting, and archiving of exams. - Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the hospital. - Mentor radiography students, new hires, and fellow radiology techs. **Minimum Qualifications:** - Graduate of a CAHEA accredited Radiology program or equivalent. - Montana Licensure (Radiology Technologist). - American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT), R) R.T.(R). - American Heart Association BLS certification. - One (1) year of radiology experience, including clinical internships. - Competency in advanced imaging techniques including fluoroscopic/C-Arm in the OR and portable radiography. **Preferred Qualifications:** - Previous experience in NICU, CCU, and ED settings. **Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:** - Demonstrate sound judgment and patience in high-stress situations. - Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times. - Ability to learn new technologies and software quickly. - Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. - Capable of prioritizing tasks and managing multiple deadlines effectively. **Physical Requirements:** - Support and lift up to 50 pounds, including transferring patients and carrying equipment. - Potential for extended hours, including shifts longer than eight hours. - Flexible schedule to accommodate varying shifts, including weekends and on-call availability. - Proficient in communication in person and through technology. **Potential Exposures:** - Bloodborne pathogens and bodily fluids. - Radiation during imaging procedures. - Various healthcare chemicals and disinfectants. - Interaction with patients possibly carrying infectious diseases. - Emotionally challenging scenarios with distressed patients and families. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
