Job Summary
A qualified Travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide rehabilitation services and support patients in improving mobility, strength, and functional independence.
The PTA will work under the direction of a Physical Therapist to provide therapeutic interventions, assist with patient treatment plans, and monitor patient progress throughout the assignment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with implementing individualized physical therapy treatment plans.
Provide therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation interventions under PT direction.
Assist patients with mobility, functional activities, and therapeutic exercises.
Monitor and document patient progress during treatment.
Educate patients on prescribed exercises and appropriate techniques.
Communicate patient progress and concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist.
Maintain accurate and timely treatment documentation.
Follow patient safety, infection control, and facility policies.
Provide professional and compassionate patient care.
Requirements
Active Physical Therapist Assistant license – Required
PTA experience in a rehabilitation setting
Ability to work Monday–Friday day shifts
Strong communication and patient-care skills
Updated resume documenting relevant PTA experience
Ability to meet applicable state licensing and credentialing requirements
