Speech-Language Pathologist – Travel Contract
Position: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Rutland, VT
Contract Duration: 15 Weeks
Pay Rate: $70/hour
Weekly Gross Pay: Up to $2,450/week, including stipend
Weekly Stipend: $1,246/week
Taxable W-2 Rate: $34.40/hour
Non-Taxable Rate: $35.60/hour
Overtime: Available after 40 hours/week
Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Shift Type: Day Shift
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Scheduled Hours: 35 hours/week
Job Description
We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a 15-week travel assignment in Rutland, Vermont. The SLP will provide comprehensive speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing assessments and therapy services while collaborating with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Responsibilities
Evaluate and assess patients for speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Provide evidence-based speech and language therapy.
Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and therapeutic techniques.
Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
Maintain compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Requirements
Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license for Vermont.
Relevant SLP education and clinical experience.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Current certifications as required by the facility.
