Job Summary:
Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Inpatient position in a rehabilitation hospital setting. The role involves providing specialized speech therapy services to adult patients recovering from neurologic injuries, stroke, Parkinsons disease, and debility. The SLP will work with a patient population requiring comprehensive and individualized therapy focused on maximizing functional communication and swallowing abilities.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Start Date: 08/31/2026
- End Date: 11/30/2026
- Required Qualifications: CCCs (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology), BLS (Basic Life Support), minimum of 0 years of experience, located within the specified area, and educational requirements as applicable to SLP licensure
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in adult acute rehabilitation settings and familiarity with neuro, Parkinsons disease, and debility treatment is preferred
- Additional Information: The role requires engagement with adult patients in an inpatient rehabilitation environment, focusing on neuro, Parkinsons, and debility diagnoses, with a relaxed and efficient personality fit
