Location: Petersburg, West Virginia

Position Type: Travel/Contract
Scheduled Hours: 40 Hours/Week
Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Overtime: Available after 40 hours/week
Compensation:
Pay Rate: $52.00/hour
Weekly Gross Pay: $2,080/week
Weekly Stipend: $1,246/week
Taxable W2 Rate: $20.85/hour
Non-Taxable Rate: $31.15/hour
Overtime Rate: Available after 40 hours/week
Job Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing evaluations and treatments.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical findings.
Provide therapy to patients in a rehabilitation setting to improve functional communication and swallowing abilities.
Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
Document evaluations, treatment sessions, progress, and discharge recommendations accurately.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding treatment plans, communication strategies, and swallowing safety.
Maintain compliance with facility policies, professional standards, and applicable regulations.
Requirements
Current and active Speech-Language Pathologist license in West Virginia or eligibility for licensure.
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
ASHA certification/eligibility preferred.
Previous rehabilitation or clinical experience preferred.
Strong communication, assessment, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
