Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Miami, OK
Employment Type: Full-time
Shift: 8:00am–4:00pm, with on-call availability required
Summary of the Role:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing production equipment to keep manufacturing operations running safely and efficiently. This is a hands-on position working in a warm and dusty industrial environment. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to respond to equipment issues as they arise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance and repairs on production lines and industrial equipment.
- Replace belts, bearings, and other worn or damaged machine components as needed.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and determine appropriate repairs.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and help minimize production downtime.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment.
- Inspect production equipment for wear, damage, or potential problems.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and other maintenance equipment safely.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed.
- Keep maintenance and production areas clean and organized.
- Follow all company safety procedures, including proper lockout/tagout practices.
- Remain available for on-call maintenance needs outside of regular scheduled hours.
- Perform additional maintenance duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
- Previous industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.
- Experience replacing belts and other mechanical components preferred.
- Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
- Comfortable working in a warm, dusty industrial environment.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, climbing, lifting, and working around production equipment.
- Dependable and willing to respond to on-call maintenance needs.
- Strong attention to safety and equipment reliability.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize repairs based on production needs.
Compensation:
$25.00 per hour
On-call availability is required for this position.
