Job Title: Sr. Electrical Engineer

Job Location: Tyler, TX

What You'll Do

Develop electrical engineering deliverables including SLDs, load lists, calculations, cable sizing and routing, lighting layouts, and grounding/lightning protection systems.
Perform short-circuit, coordination, voltage-drop, motor-starting, arc-flash, and lighting calculations using ETAP and SKM.
Prepare and review specifications, data sheets, and material requisitions for MV/LV switchgear, transformers, motors, UPS, VFDs, and lighting systems.
Ensure designs comply with NEC, UL, IEC, IEEE, API standards and coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Support vendor clarifications, review vendor drawings, and assist with construction, testing, and commissioning activities.
Estimate man-hours for project proposals and support field installation teams.

What You'll Bring

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with 10–20 years of Oil & Gas/Industrial/EPC experience.
Professional Engineer (PE) license and strong NEC code knowledge.
Hands-on experience with ETAP/SKM, strong Excel capability, and fluency in English.
Experience selecting and sizing electrical equipment and performing hazardous area classifications.
Working knowledge of Navisworks, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong communication, writing, time‑management, and project‑planning skills.
