Operations Coordinator
Job Summary
Our client is seeking an Operations Coordinator to support manufacturing, maintenance, and engineering teams through document control, project tracking, record management, and operational reporting activities. This role serves as a key administrative resource for plant operations by ensuring critical documentation, compliance records, maintenance systems, and project information remain organized and up to date.
Responsibilities
*Support daily operations by maintaining records and documentation for manufacturing, maintenance, and engineering activities.
*Manage operational data, reports, and tracking systems to support plant performance and project visibility
*Coordinate maintenance work order activity and assist with administration of computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
*Track purchase requests, purchase orders, and project-related expenditures.
*Maintain environmental, safety, transportation, and compliance documentation.
*Support document control activities including procedures, operating instructions, technical records, and equipment files.
*Compile operational metrics related to production, maintenance, and capital projects.
*Assist with audits, investigations, corrective actions, and follow-up activities.
*Support project planning, scheduling, and execution activities for maintenance and capital improvement projects.
*Work closely with operations, engineering, maintenance, and leadership teams to ensure efficient plant support.
Requirements
*Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting manufacturing, operations, engineering, maintenance, EHS, or related functions.
*Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
*Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
*Experience managing documentation, reports, and operational records.
*Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
*Experience working with maintenance systems, project tracking software, or operational databases is preferred.
*Strong written and verbal communication skills.
