Duration: 12 Months (Possibility of Extension)

Job Type: Contract


Pay Rate: $30/hr

(Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).


Work Schedule:

Monday thru Friday from 7:30am - 4:30pm

Job Description

Responsible for the administration of all ordered therapies. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Performs duties within the Nurses scope of practice, the facility's policies/procedures, INS Standards of practice, and approved facility protocols. Administers ordered therapies according to prescriber order, facility protocols, INS standards and company policy and procedures. Completes admission process as directed by Center Director. Performs physical assessment on each patient as warranted and for new consults as warranted by the patient diagnosis. Refer to the NP on duty for complete physical assessment as needed. Documents all pertinent data in the patients medical record. Reports all significant changes or observations to the Center Director and is responsible for the follow up on any problem which is identified. Evaluates the patients response to therapy and documents this finding in the medical record. Educates patients and/or family members regarding therapy plan. Educates patients and/or family members regarding therapy plan. Ensures that all medication orders are complete, appropriate, accurate and up to date prior to treatment. Understands and adheres to all applicable state, local and Federal laws and / or regulations including maintaining patient confidentiality through abiding by HIPAA laws/regulations. Requires an ASN or ADN and a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Requires a current unrestricted RN license in applicable state required. Multi-state licensure is required if this individual is providing services in multiple states. Previous management experience preferred. Prefer experience with IV. BSN preferred.

It is preferred that candidates have up-to-date credentials, such as: Law 300 compliance, a valid Puerto Rico Nursing License, a current health certificate, a negative criminal background certificate, current BLS certification, experience in clinical and hospital settings, experience in a multispecialty environment, bilingual skills, proficiency with electronic medical records, strong interpersonal skills, teamwork, self-initiative, punctuality, patient- and companion/service-oriented attitude, responsibility, among others.
