Inpatient Pharmacist - Day Shift (Chicago, IL)

RPh on the Go is urgently hiring an Inpatient Pharmacist for a full-time opportunity in Chicago, Illinois. This is a great opportunity for an experienced hospital pharmacist looking for a consistent schedule and the potential to transition into a permanent role.

Position Details

• Location: Chicago, IL
• Setting: Inpatient Hospital
• 13-weeks (temp-to-perm)
• Full-time; Day shift – 1st or 2nd shift
• Local candidates only – no travel candidates

Responsibilities

• Verify and dispense inpatient medication orders
• Prepare and oversee sterile compounded medications and IVs
• Review medication therapies for safety, dosing, interactions, and appropriateness
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, pharmacy technicians, and other clinical staff

Requirements

• Active and unrestricted Illinois Pharmacist license
• Recent inpatient hospital pharmacy experience required
• Sterile compounding experience required
• Cerner experience preferred
• Must be local to the Chicago area
