Clinical Pharmacist (Inpatient Hospital) - Chicago, IL

RPh on the Go has partnered with a hospital in Chicago, Illinois, seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist for a full-time, 13-week (temp-to-perm) opportunity. This position offers consistent day-shift hours and the opportunity to join the team long-term.

Position Details

• Location: Chicago, IL
• Setting: Inpatient Hospital
• 13-weeks (temp-to-perm)
• Full-time; Day shift – 1st or 2nd shift
• Local candidates only – no travel candidates

Responsibilities

• Verify and dispense inpatient medication orders
• Prepare and oversee sterile compounded medications and IVs
• Review medication therapies for safety, dosing, interactions, and appropriateness
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, pharmacy technicians, and other clinical staff

Requirements

• Active and unrestricted Illinois Pharmacist license
• Recent inpatient hospital pharmacy experience required
• Sterile compounding experience required
• Cerner experience preferred
• Must be local to the Chicago area
