Staff Pharmacist in Auxvasse, MO

A rewarding opportunity is available for a temporary pharmacist to provide essential coverage starting early September, continuing until a permanent pharmacist is hired. This contract position is based in Auxvasse, MO, offering consistent weekday hours with no weekend or on-call responsibilities.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Pharmacy closed on all Missouri state holidays

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct pharmacist verification for pharmacy technicians, including reviewing bags flagged by InspectRx.
• Handle repackaging, bag corrections, and refilling of canisters.
• Perform barcode scanning to verify medications filled by technicians.
• Provide support and troubleshooting assistance in coordination with pharmacy staff.
• Complete approximately three days of training prior to starting the assignment.

Qualifications:

• Active Missouri Board of Pharmacy license.
• Minimum of 1 year recent pharmacy experience.
• Familiarity with order verification; behavioral health experience is not required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively within the team.
