Construction Worker Responsibilities

• Assist with commercial construction, remodeling, and renovation projects
• Perform carpentry and general construction tasks as assigned
• Measure, cut, assemble, and install materials as needed
• Safely operate hand tools and power tools
• Assist skilled tradespeople and other construction workers on the job site
• Load, unload, move, and organize construction materials
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all job site safety rules and procedures
• Work effectively as part of a construction team

Construction Worker Qualifications

• Previous construction experience required
• Carpentry experience preferred
• Experience with hand and power tools preferred
• Valid driver's license required
• Reliable transportation to the New Martinsville, WV job site
• Ability to perform physically demanding construction work
• Ability to lift, bend, stand, walk, and work for extended periods
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to follow directions and work safely

Pay & Benefits

• $20.00-$23.00 per hour, based on experience
• Long-term commercial construction project
• Potential for up to one year of steady work
