Key Qualifications:

  • Must possess one or more of the following:
    • Associate’s Degree or higher
    • 48 college units and high school diploma
    • Passing score on CBEST or Instructional Aide Exam with high school diploma
  • Clearly state “S10/S10A” and any additional S-qualifications (S10E, S10F, S10Q, S10W, S20D, S20V, S22)
  • Willingness to participate in any assigned paraprofessional duty, including toileting, feeding, g-tube feeding, and assisting wherever needed on campus
  • Team player mindset—flexible to adapt to all classroom and student support situations
  • Ability to work 27.5 hours per week during school hours
  • Comfortable standing for extended periods if required
  • For specialized positions: may require sign language proficiency, Braille knowledge, emergency anti-seizure medication training, or valid CA LVN license and CPR/First Aid as noted in S-qualification details

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide instructional, behavioral, and physical support to students with diverse needs
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure student safety and success
  • Implement assigned health care procedures as trained
  • Ensure confidentiality and a compassionate attitude in all student interactions
