Staff Pharmacist - Inpatient Hospital Chicago, IL

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

We are seeking an experienced Staff Pharmacist for a 13-week contract assignment in an inpatient hospital setting, with a possible extension.

Shift Schedule
1st Shift: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
2nd Shift: 2:30 PM–10:00 PM
Rotating between first and second shift
Rotating weekend coverage

Requirements
Active Illinois Pharmacist License
Strong inpatient clinical pharmacy experience
Previous Cerner experience is a plus
Ability to work rotating shifts and weekends
Responsibilities

The Staff Pharmacist will provide comprehensive pharmacy services within an inpatient hospital environment, including:

Reviewing and verifying medication orders
Providing clinical pharmacy support to inpatient patients and care teams
Ensuring medication orders are safe, accurate, and appropriate
Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
Supporting medication distribution and pharmacy operations
Performing standard inpatient pharmacist duties
Utilizing Cerner for medication order review and verification
