Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active South Carolina Teaching License required
- Certification in both Special Education and Early Childhood Education (for EC PCD Teacher role)
- Multi-Categorical Special Education endorsement (for ID Mild/Moderate Self-contained position)
- Experience working with early childhood (ages 3-4) or K-3 students in a self-contained setting
- Strong classroom management and individualized education planning (IEP) skills
- Compassionate and knowledgeable about evidence-based practices for special needs learners
Role Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized instruction for students based on IEP goals and developmental needs
- Foster an inclusive, safe, and nurturing environment that encourages student growth
- Collaborate closely with fellow educators, families, and school support staff
- Track, document, and report student progress regularly
- Adapt lesson plans and strategies to meet diverse student needs
- Effectively manage classroom routines for early childhood (EC PCD) and/or K-3 self-contained students
