Special Education Teacher - Mc Coll, South Carolina

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active South Carolina Teaching License required
• Certification in both Special Education and Early Childhood Education (for EC PCD Teacher role)
• Multi-Categorical Special Education endorsement (for ID Mild/Moderate Self-contained position)
• Experience working with early childhood (ages 3-4) or K-3 students in a self-contained setting
• Strong classroom management and individualized education planning (IEP) skills
• Compassionate and knowledgeable about evidence-based practices for special needs learners

Role Responsibilities:

• Implement individualized instruction for students based on IEP goals and developmental needs
• Foster an inclusive, safe, and nurturing environment that encourages student growth
• Collaborate closely with fellow educators, families, and school support staff
• Track, document, and report student progress regularly
• Adapt lesson plans and strategies to meet diverse student needs
• Effectively manage classroom routines for early childhood (EC PCD) and/or K-3 self-contained students
