Why Work Here?

Employees benefit from a structured development path, including a two-year period of additional training and testing tied to three levels of pay increases, supporting long-term growth and skill advancement. The organization offers competitive benefits with multiple options and a strong retirement savings program that includes matching contributions, encouraging financial security. Paid time off is provided with an 80-hour vacation framework and accrual system, allowing flexibility for emergencies while maintaining fairness and accountability. Overall, the culture emphasizes ongoing training, clear progression, and comprehensive benefits designed to reward commitment and support work-life balance.

Work Environment

This role is based in a heavy industrial, non-temperature-controlled manufacturing environment that can become extremely hot, similar to a foundry with furnaces operating at approximately 2800 degrees. Conditions can also be very cold during the winter, requiring comfort working in significant temperature extremes. The workspace is dusty and dirty, with white zinc oxide particles present in the air; these are non-toxic but may be a skin irritant for some individuals. Employees are regularly exposed to extreme heat and frequently to moving mechanical parts, high and precarious places, and fumes or airborne particles, so strict adherence to safety protocols is essential. The noise level is generally high, and hearing protection and other personal protective equipment may be required. To support employee well-being, the facility provides water stations with water, sports drinks, snow cones, and a cooled break area where staff can rest and recover from the heat. Work may include 15–20 hours of overtime per week, which may decrease as staffing increases, and requires readiness to work in physically demanding, fast-paced conditions.
