Shift: 2nd & 3rd Shift | Multiple Openings
Are you a skilled Toolmaker with strong mechanical and technical knowledge? Qualified Staffing is looking for experienced, hands-on professionals who know how to troubleshoot, repair, fabricate, and keep production equipment running.
What You'll Do
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems
- Work with machining & grinding centers, automation, conveyors, and assembly equipment
- Maintain hydraulic, pneumatic, press, robotic, and automated welding systems
- Perform preventive and reactive maintenance
- Use lathes, Bridgeport's, grinders, drill presses, and welding equipment
- Read and work from blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Use micrometers, calipers, gauge blocks, and dial indicators
- Assist with fabrication, fitting, grinding, shimming, and equipment adjustments
- Support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and machine reliability
- Help minimize equipment downtime and keep production moving
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 3 years of Toolmaker experience – REQUIRED
- Must have your own tools
- Must have strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience
- Experience with modern/state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
