Responsibilities
Provide specialized instruction in a self-contained classroom
Develop and implement lessons aligned with students' IEP goals
Support students with developmental disabilities and autism in their academic, behavioral, social, and functional development
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
Collaborate with families, administrators, related service providers, and other members of the educational team
Create a structured, positive, and engaging classroom environment
Qualifications
SC Multi-Categorical Special Education Certification required
Experience working with students with DD/AU preferred
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Passion for helping students reach their individual goals
