We're Hiring: HEAT Program Coordinator | $64,022.40/salary + Amazing Benefits!Location: Salt Lake City Area, UT | Type: Full-Time | FLSA: Exempt Make a Difference. Lead with Purpose. Empower Your Community.Are you a passionate leader who thrives on helping people, developing teams, and making a meaningful impact? Utah Community Action is looking for a HEAT Program Coordinator to help lead our utility assistance programs and ensure individuals and families have access to critical resources when they need them most.What You'll DoYou'll partner with the HEAT Manager to execute and implement HEAT, Crisis, HELP, and other utility-focused programs while ensuring compliance with federal, state, local, and Utah Community Action requirements. You'll monitor program reports, support program management, and help drive successful grant outcomes.As a people leader, you'll hire, train, mentor, coach, supervise, and develop staff, potentially overseeing up to 20 direct reports. You'll champion accountability, continuous learning, professionalism, and teamwork while helping employees reach their full potential.You'll also:Build strong relationships with community and agency partners.Help plan and lead outreach and recruitment events throughout Utah.Deliver engaging trainings and presentations.Provide exceptional, trauma-informed, client-centered service.Advocate for clients, including individuals and families experiencing crisis.Provide direct client services when needed.Use sound judgment and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.What You BringBachelor's degree, in social, human, or family services.Advanced Microsoft Office or similar software skills.Strong leadership, supervision, conflict-resolution, and team-coordination skills.Excellent organization, time management, communication, and attention to detail.Knowledge of community resources, agencies, and referral processes.Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate sound judgment.Ability to travel to in-state outreach events.Valid driver's license.Preferred: Two years of supervisory experience, previous HEAT experience, and bilingual skills.Pay & PerksMedical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceHSA with up to $2,500 match + Telehealth access401(k) with 5% company match11 Paid Holidays + Paid Winter Break (Christmas-New Year's)192 PTO hours annually + Weekly Paid Self-Care HourLife & Disability Insurance, EAP, and more!Why You'll Love This RoleThis isn't just a job-it's an opportunity to lead a team, strengthen your community, and help people navigate challenging moments with dignity and compassion.
