Memory Care Med-Tech (1st Shift)

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable professional to join our team in a memory care setting, supporting residents with daily living needs while promoting dignity, safety, and comfort. Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to residents with activities of daily living, including grooming, dressing, bathing, toileting, mobility, and eating assistance as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment for residents in accordance with care plans and facility procedures.
• Observe residents for changes in condition, behavior, appetite, mobility, or safety concerns and communicate promptly to the appropriate team members.
• Encourage resident engagement through respectful communication, routine support, and participation in daily activities.
• Assist with transfers, repositioning, and ambulation while using proper body mechanics and safety practices.
• Document care provided and complete assigned tasks accurately and in a timely manner.
• Respond calmly and professionally to resident needs, including those related to memory loss, confusion, or anxiety.
• Support infection prevention, housekeeping, and other environmental standards as assigned.
• Work collaboratively with nurses, caregivers, and other team members to deliver consistent care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Med-tech certificate required.
• Previous experience in memory care, long-term care, assisted living, or a related healthcare setting is preferred.
• Ability to provide compassionate, respectful care to older adults and individuals with cognitive impairment.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and observation skills.
• Ability to follow directions, maintain confidentiality, and adhere to safety and care standards.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and assist residents throughout the shift.
• Reliability, flexibility, and a positive attitude in a resident-centered environment.
