About the Role:
As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with Aspire Senior Living Malden, you will be responsible for:
Assessing and treating residents with communication and swallow disorders
Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to improve speech and language skills
Collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for each resident
Maintaining accurate and detailed records of treatment sessions and resident progress
Participating in staff development and training programs to stay current with best practices in the field
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of residents' communication and swallowing abilities
Design and implement customized treatment plans to address specific speech and language needs
Provide direct patient care, including individual and group therapy sessions
Monitor residents' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Document all treatment sessions and resident progress accurately and thoroughly
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to share knowledge and expertise
Stay current with industry developments and best practices in speech-language pathology
Ideal Candidate:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Current certification in speech-language pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)

Strong clinical skills and experience working with adults with communication and swallowing disorders
