2nd Shift CNA

Job Description:

Luther Manor is seeking for a 2nd shift CNA that is willing to work from 2:00pm-10:00pm and every other weekend. The primary purpose of your job position is to provide each of your assigned residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident’s assessment and care plan, and as may be directed by your supervisors.

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with daily oral care (i.e., brushing teeth/dentures, oral hygiene, special mouth care, etc.).
• Assist residents with bath functions (i.e., bedbath, tub or shower bath, etc.) as directed.
• Assist residents with dressing/undressing as necessary.
• Assist with lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting residents into and out of beds, chairs, bathtubs, wheelchairs, lifts, etc.
• Make resident comfortable (i.e., put to bed, get water, etc.).

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Must have a CNA Certification
• Must be able to speak and read english
• Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served.
• Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents.
• Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday.
• ExperienceEntry Level (0-2 years)
