Position 1: Commercial Electrical Foreman

Pay: $28.00 – $38.00 per hour


Position Overview

The Commercial Electrical Foreman is a hands-on leadership position for experienced electrical professionals who take pride in safe, high-quality workmanship and leadership on the job site.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead electrical installation and repair projects across varied sites.
  • Interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documents.
  • Install conduit, control panels, wiring systems, switches, and fixtures.
  • Ensure all work meets NEC and local codes and standards.
  • Mentor apprentices and promote a safe, productive learning environment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues with efficiency and professionalism.
  • Communicate clearly with clients and team members.
  • Maintain clean and organized job sites while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Track progress and provide timely reports to supervisors and project managers.
  • Collaborate with other trades and participate in company-sponsored training.



Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of commercial electrical experience (Journeyman preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of NEC and related codes.
  • Proficient with power tools, meters, and electrical test equipment.
  • Skilled in reading blueprints and technical schematics.
  • Reliable, punctual, and self-driven with excellent work ethic.
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Capable of working independently and on team-based projects.
  • Must own basic tools, cordless kit and PPE (hard hat, boots, code book, etc.).
  • Valid driver's license required.

 


Position 2: Journeyman Electrician:

Pay: $25.00 – $32.00 per hour


Position Overview

The Journeyman Electrician is responsible for performing critical on-site electrical work across diverse job sites while maintaining high standards of safety, workmanship, and code compliance.


Key Responsibilities:

You’ll be expected to lead and execute critical on-site work including:

  • Installing, servicing, and repairing electrical systems across diverse job sites.
  • Reading and interpreting schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
  • Installing conduit, control panels, fixtures, switches, and advanced wiring.
  • Ensuring strict adherence to NEC and local codes for safe, compliant workmanship.
  • Mentoring apprentices and reinforcing safe practices on the job.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving complex electrical issues efficiently.
  • Communicating progress and reporting to foremen and supervisors.
  • Keeping work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety protocols.
  • Collaborating with other trades and participating in company-sponsored training.



Qualifications:

Pellman Electric Associates LLC is seeking a skilled and dependable Residential / Commercial Service Electrician to perform electrical service, troubleshooting, installation, and repair work across residential and commercial properties. This position is ideal for an experienced electrician who enjoys diagnosing problems, interacting with customers, and delivering professional electrical solutions while maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform residential and commercial electrical service calls.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems and equipment.
  • Install, replace, and repair electrical components, fixtures, switches, outlets, panels, wiring, and related equipment.
  • Read and interpret electrical plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
  • Identify electrical issues and recommend appropriate repair or replacement solutions.
  • Use electrical meters, testing equipment, power tools, and hand tools safely and effectively.
  • Ensure all work complies with NEC requirements, applicable local codes, and company standards.
  • Communicate professionally with customers, supervisors, and team members.
  • Explain electrical issues, recommended repairs, and completed work clearly to customers.
  • Maintain accurate service records, job documentation, and material usage.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Follow all company safety policies and job-site procedures.
  • Coordinate with other trades and team members when required.
  • Participate in company-sponsored training and continuing education.



Qualifications:

  • Previous residential and/or commercial electrical service experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, troubleshooting, and repair practices.
  • Working knowledge of NEC and applicable local electrical codes.
  • Proficient with electrical meters, testing equipment, power tools, and hand tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude when interacting with customers.
  • Reliable, punctual, self-motivated, and committed to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
