Job Description
Pay: $26–$29/hour
Hours: 6:00 AM–6:30 PM
Heat Treat experience preferred
Experience: 3+ years of industrial/mechanical/electrical maintenance experience
We’re looking for an experienced Heat Treat Maintenance Technician II to keep equipment running safely, efficiently, and reliably. This is a hands-on maintenance role focused on troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, repairs, and supporting Heat Treat operations.
You’ll work independently on day-to-day maintenance while collaborating with the maintenance team on larger repairs and improvement projects.
No two days will look the same, but you can expect to:
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance and equipment inspections
- Support and maintain Heat Treat equipment and systems
- Diagnose equipment issues and minimize production downtime
- Replace belts, bearings, seals, valves, motors, and other components
- Assist with equipment installation, setup, and emergency repairs
- Read schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Document work orders and maintenance activity in the CMMS
- Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout (LOTO)
- Work alongside other technicians to solve more complex equipment issues
- 3+ years of maintenance experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or facilities environment
- Heat Treat maintenance experience preferred
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, multimeters, and diagnostic equipment
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices
- Ability to read electrical/mechanical schematics and blueprints
- Familiarity with CMMS systems
- Understanding of LOTO and industrial safety practices
- Ability to work independently and prioritize repairs
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical maintenance work
Bonus: Experience with PLCs, building automation systems, HVAC, industrial controls, or maintenance-related certifications.
