About the Position

Our client is seeking a full-time, local CDL A Flatbed Driver to deliver underground utility products throughout the local area. This position involves transporting pipe, tubing, valves, fittings, and related construction materials using tractor-trailers and straight trucks. Drivers are home daily and will be responsible for strapping freight only.

Pay & Schedule Details

• Pay: $26 per hour
• Overtime: Available after 40 hours
• Schedule: Monday through Friday
• Start Time: 7:00 a.m.
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Employment Type: Temp to perm
• Home Time: Home daily

Key Responsibilities

• Complete local deliveries of pipe, tubing, valves, fittings, and underground utility products.
• Operate tractor-trailer and straight-truck equipment as needed.
• Assist with loading by placing 4x4s on the deck.
• Communicate loading preferences and placement instructions to the forklift operator.
• Secure freight with straps and ensure loads are properly prepared for transport.
• Communicate professionally with customers, dispatchers, and loading personnel.
• Perform all duties safely and responsibly.

Minimum Requirements

• 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
• Valid CDL Class A license.
• Flatbed driving experience.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
• Ability to safely secure freight with straps.
• Ability to operate manual-transmission equipment.
• Strong communication, accountability, and problem-solving skills.
