Pennsylvania Steel Company, located in Naugatuck, CT, is seeking a full-time, permanent Inside Sales Representative to join our Team.

Pennsylvania Steel Company Inc is a leading distributor of steel and aluminum. We are a veteran and privately owned business with 52 years in the industry.

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity.

Position Objective:

To generate revenue for the company through soliciting and obtaining orders, understanding & interpreting customer requirements, providing information and developing customers.

Position Responsibilities:

* Receive and process customer's requests for quotes and sales orders via phone, fax and email accurately and timely.

* Provide customers with all required information upon request.

* Develop and maintain excellent customer relationships through outstanding customer service.

* Work with team members to provide support as required.

* Follow all aspects of the Company's quality system and assist with the development of the system as required.

* Adhere to all company policies, procedures and company values.

* Other duties as required.

Position available: Immediately

Required Experience:

* Familiarity with the metals industry and its products. (Exp. w/ Steel is a bonus)

* Strong computer skills.

* Strong mathematical skills.

* Good attention to detail.

* Strong customer service skills.

* Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
