Cath Lab Technician Responsibilities
- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment during procedures.
- Perform scrub tech functions assisting cardiologists and vascular surgeons.
- Conduct hemodynamic monitoring.
- Document procedures during cases.
- Provide shared on-call coverage for the 24/7 cath lab.
Requirements
- MIRT license and RT or RCIS certification required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and CPR (AHA) certifications required.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience required.
- Experience with Epic systems and specific cath lab procedures required.
- Must be separated from the specified health system for a minimum of 6 months in travel, permanent, or per diem roles.
Schedule
- Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
- 10-11 on-call shifts per month, including rotating weekends.
Certifications
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Verification (NH) or equivalent
- ACLS
