About who needs care: Diagnosed with ALS and needs assistance with activities daily living. Needs assistance with transfers. His Speech has been affected and uses a speaking device. About the care needs: Must be skilled in transferring. Need to be patient. My husband is tall 6 feet 1 in and weighs 160lbs so having someone who is strong is important. Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
