About Super Service Auto Shops
Super Service Auto Shops is seeking an experienced Automotive Shop Foreman in Placentia, CA, with approximately $125,000-$175,000 in annual earning potential depending on experience and shop production. This Monday-Friday opportunity offers hands-on technical leadership in a busy, high-volume automotive repair environment. The Foreman will lead shop workflow, support complex diagnostics, mentor technicians, and oversee repair quality while helping the team operate safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Assign and prioritize repair and maintenance work based on technician capabilities, workload, and shop needs
- Supervise, mentor, train, and provide hands-on technical support to mechanics and technicians
- Assist with advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, and complex vehicle repairs
- Track repair progress, address workflow delays, and coordinate with service advisors and technicians
- Inspect completed work and maintain repair quality, safety, and customer standards
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with technicians and monitor performance
- Maintain shop tools and equipment and monitor parts and supply inventory
- Address escalated customer concerns and clearly explain vehicle repairs and maintenance
Qualifications
- 5+ years of automotive repair experience
- Advanced automotive diagnostic and complex repair experience
- Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Experience leading, supervising, mentoring, and training automotive technicians or apprentices
- Ability to assign and manage work based on technician capabilities and shop workload
- Strong understanding of repair quality, quality-control procedures, and shop safety
- Experience with diagnostic equipment, factory scan tools, and digital vehicle inspections (DVI)
