About the job

The General Labor team supports production operations by inspecting, sorting, packing, labeling,

and preparing products while maintaining quality, food safety, and production standards.

We're looking for someone who

● Has the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment

● Is able to stand for extended periods throughout the shift

● Is comfortable working in cold and wet conditions

● Can accurately count products and follow packaging instructions

● Pays close attention to detail and quality

● Follows written and verbal instructions effectively

● Demonstrates a positive attitude and works well as part of a team

● Is committed to food safety, cleanliness, and workplace safety

● Is willing to learn multiple production tasks through on-the-job training

● Is available to work overtime, nights, weekends, and seasonal schedules as needed

● Is willing to travel seasonally between San Juan Bautista, CA and Yuma, AZ

What you'll do

● Sort, inspect, and package products according to quality standards

● Pack bags, clamshells, and containers into boxes at production line speeds

● Insert packaging materials, components, lids, and labels as required

● Inspect products for defects, damage, or contamination and remove non-conforming items

● Verify product counts, packaging, and labeling accuracy

● Rework products as directed to meet quality requirements

● Keep work areas, equipment, and production lines clean and organized

● Follow food safety, GMP, and workplace safety procedures

● Rotate between production assignments based on operational needs

● Report quality concerns, equipment issues, or safety hazards to supervisors

● Support production goals while maintaining quality and efficiency

Physical requirements

● Must be able to stand for extended periods throughout the shift

● Must be able to lift up to 50lbs as needed

● Must be comfortable working in cold, wet production environments

● Must be able to perform repetitive hand, arm, and lifting movements

● Must be available to work overtime, nights, weekends, and travel seasonally between California and Arizona
