About the Role

An established industrial manufacturing company specializing in rigging, cranes, and elevator products is urgently seeking a Customer Service Coordinator to serve as the primary point of contact for clients and act as a key liaison between the storefront, sales, and shop operations. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, with conversion to a permanent, full-time position after successfully completing an approximately five-month (860-hour) probationary period. The ideal candidate is available to start immediately and is looking for a long-term role.

You'll report directly to the Branch Manager and work on-site at a facility that pairs a professional office environment with an attached unionized manufacturing shop — a great fit for someone who thrives in a hands-on, industrial setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the front-line point of contact for client payment and product inquiries.
• Coordinate and support storefront operations, ensuring a smooth experience for walk-in and repeat customers.
• Liaise between clients, sales, and shop staff to help move orders and requests along efficiently.
• Occasionally handle light products (under 20 lbs), such as safety harnesses and gloves.
• Represent the company professionally in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Ideal Candidate

• Prior experience in a mechanical, electrical, or industrial setting is strongly preferred.
• Comfortable working in or around a rugged, heavy manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication, coordination, and customer relationship skills.
