Special Education Teacher

HTF Staffing is seeking a qualified Special Education Teacher for a full-time elementary school opportunity at Keller Elementary School in Tinley Park, Illinois.

Position Details

• Location: Keller Elementary School, Tinley Park, Illinois
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:40 a.m.–2:40 p.m.
• Start Date: ASAP
• End Date: October 31, 2026
• Schedule: Full-time, 5 days per week
• Alternative schedules may be considered if needed.
• On-site position — remote or hybrid arrangements are not available.

Responsibilities

• Support a current caseload of 3 Kindergarten and 2 First Grade students.
• Provide specialized instruction in a self-contained instructional setting (not a multi-needs classroom).
• Implement and monitor IEP goals, accommodations, and student progress.
• Collaborate with a strong team of special education teachers and school staff.
• Utilize instructional materials, resources, and paraeducator support.

Qualifications

• Illinois LBS1 certification required
• Special Education teaching experience preferred.
• Elementary school experience preferred.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills.
