Hospice Registered Nurse

The Hospice Registered Nurse plays a vital role in providing compassionate care to patients nearing the end of life. This nurse is responsible for managing symptoms, administering medications, and coordinating care to ensure patients' comfort and dignity. The role requires close collaboration with families and interdisciplinary teams to support both patient and family needs during this challenging time.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care focused on comfort and quality of life

• Administer medications according to physician orders and hospice protocols
• Coordinate care activities among healthcare providers and support services
• Offer emotional and educational support to patients and their families
