As an Outbound Supervisor, you will play a critical role in overseeing daily picking/shipping operations within our dynamic multi-client 3PL distribution environment. You will lead and develop a team dedicated to achieving exceptional performance, ensuring orders are shipped accurately, safely, and on time while meeting the unique requirements of multiple customers.
What You'll Do
- Lead, coach, and motivate outbound warehouse associates to achieve daily productivity and quality goals.
- Oversee order fulfillment, picking, packing, shipping, and load planning activities.
- Ensure customer service expectations and service level agreements are consistently met.
- Monitor labor utilization, workflow, and operational performance to maximize efficiency.
- Drive a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Analyze KPIs and implement corrective actions to improve productivity, quality, and accuracy.
- Collaborate with Inventory, Inbound, Transportation, and Customer Service teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Train, mentor, and develop employees while fostering a positive and engaged work environment.
What We're Looking For
- Previous supervisory experience in a warehouse, distribution, or 3PL environment.
- Experience managing operations within a multi-client facility.
- Strong knowledge of outbound shipping processes and warehouse best practices.
- Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- HighJump/Körber WMS experience preferred.
- Proven ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven operation.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to analyze performance metrics and make data-driven decisions.
