About the Role:
MONEGRO CONTRACTORS INC is looking for a motivated and hardworking Painting and Cleaning Assistant to join our growing team in Kissimmee, FL! This is a great opportunity to build hands-on skills in the contracting industry while working alongside experienced professionals in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist painters with surface preparation, including sanding, scraping, and priming walls and surfaces
- Apply paint, stains, and coatings to interior and exterior surfaces as directed
- Perform general cleaning duties on job sites before, during, and after project completion
- Clean and maintain tools, brushes, rollers, and equipment after each use
- Remove debris, drop cloths, and materials to keep work areas safe and organized
- Support crew members with carrying supplies, setting up ladders, and staging materials
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines on all job sites
Requirements:
- Previous experience in painting, cleaning, or general labor is a plus but not required
- Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods
- Comfortable working at heights on ladders and scaffolding
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow directions from supervisors
- Strong work ethic with a team-player attitude
- Valid transportation to and from job sites in the Kissimmee, FL area
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
