**Exciting Opportunity for an Experienced Catheterization Laboratory Technologist II** **Job Description:** - Join a dynamic Cath Lab team as a Catheterization Laboratory Technologist II, where your skills and expertise will shine! - Play a crucial role in supporting a variety of diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. - Prepare the lab meticulously, ensuring all equipment and supplies are ready for each procedure. - Document patient information accurately and maintain strict sterile technique throughout procedures. - Serve as a mentor and resource for junior technicians, leading them with your advanced knowledge and experience. **Key Responsibilities:** - Exhibit leadership qualities and uphold organizational principles of healthcare. - Ensure all major equipment is operational and report any issues promptly. - Participate in daily room checks and maintain stocked supplies. - Access patient schedules and maintain proper documentation in cath lab systems. - Collaborate with procedure teams to ensure seamless patient care and departmental efficiency. - Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures by positioning them correctly. - Operate advanced cath lab equipment such as imaging systems and hemodynamic monitors. - Adhere strictly to aseptic techniques and follow all patient safety protocols. - Engage actively with team members to foster a cohesive work environment. - Perform patient transport as required to support team operations. - Take charge of radiation safety practices during X-Ray procedures. - Commit to departmental productivity standards and contribute to a culture focused on Zero Harm. - Uphold the organization's mission and core values of dignity, integrity, compassion, and stewardship. - Lead by example as a preceptor for Technicians and Technologists I. **Job Requirements:** - Education: Associate's degree in cardiovascular technology, radiologic technology, or a healthcare-related field preferred. - Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Diagnostic, Interventional Radiology, or Cath/EP Lab settings. - Certifications: - Basic Life Support (BLS) - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) for Pediatric facilities. - Required certifications: One from the following - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) - Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) - Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) - Radiography (R) - Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography (CV) - Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI) - Abdomen (AB) RDMS - Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB/GYN) RDMS - Adult Echocardiography (AE) RDCS - Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) **Work Schedule:** - 5 Days - 8 Hours - Full Time **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
