Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to lead field crews while remaining hands-on with electrical installations. This is a working leadership role where you’ll help oversee daily operations, assign work, troubleshoot issues, and make sure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to a high standard. The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical construction background, experience leading crews, and the ability to read drawings and manage day-to-day field activities.


Responsibilities

  • Lead and work alongside electricians and apprentices on electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs
  • Plan daily work and assign tasks to field crews
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings
  • Ensure electrical work follows applicable codes, project specifications, and safety requirements
  • Work closely with Project Managers and General Foremen to keep projects on schedule and within budget
  • Monitor work progress and address field issues as they come up
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues and help crews find practical solutions
  • Train and mentor electricians and apprentices
  • Manage tools, equipment, and materials needed for daily work
  • Maintain daily reports, work logs, and other project documentation
  • Communicate with other trades, contractors, and project stakeholders


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification
  • 5+ years of electrical construction experience
  • Previous experience leading electrical crews
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, construction practices, and safety requirements
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical documents
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
