- BLS certification
- One of these certifications is required:
- RCIS – Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist
- ARRT(VI) – ARRT with Vascular-Interventional certification
- RTRCI
- Experience with:
- Patient preparation for Cath Lab procedures
- Scrubbing procedures
- Monitoring hemodynamic pressures
- Invasive cardiology procedures/processes
- Clinical competency in Cath Lab
- Patient care and education
