Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a weekend-focused position requiring 2+ years of CT experience, ARRT certification, and WI state licensure.
Details
- 2-room CT imaging department
- Patient population includes inpatient ER, adult, and outpatient cases with rare pediatric cases
- Caseload fluctuates between 10-25 cases per 12-hour shift
- 12-hour day shifts scheduled every Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and Monday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM
- 36 standard hours per week
- No on-call requirements
- No floating requirements
- Uses Epic EMR and McKesson PACS system
- CT equipment is GE preferred, with training available
- Istat available for point-of-care testing
Requirements
- ARRT certification required
- BLS certification required
- WI state license required
- License required if applicable
- Minimum 2 years of CT experience, Level II preferred
- Minimum 12 months of core work experience in CT specialty, with most recent experience within the last year
- Experience with stroke protocol, stroke center procedures, and trauma protocols required
- Experience with perfusion scans required
- IV start proficiency required
- Epic EMR experience required
Additional Information
- May be required to transport ER patients, with support from imaging assistant
- Assistant support available during weekend shifts
- Radiologist support available remotely
- ER staff available as a support resource on the unit
- Orientation includes 3 days of New Employee Orientation (NEO)
- Weekend rotation position covering Saturday, Sunday, and Monday
- Holiday coverage required if holiday falls on a scheduled shift
- RTO requires manager approval
- Scrubs must be any professional solid color
- Free on-site parking available
- First-time travelers considered if they meet experience requirements
- No radius restrictions and local candidates accepted at the same rate
- Former Advocate Health employees or subsidiaries must be separated for at least 12 months before being eligible for travel positions
- Clinical interview required with manager approval before offer
