Get to Know Your Team: 

• UT Health East Texas has extended its healthcare services to include urgent care facilities. These locations have highly skilled and compassionate healthcare professionals dedicated to providing exceptional care for various non-life-threatening conditions.

Responsibilities:

Performs radiology procedures by utilizing ionizing radiation and/or other imaging modalities within NCT scope to aid in the diagnoses and treatment of injury/disease, along with assisting medical staff as a Certified Medical Assistant.  Subject to overtime and call back as needed.  

Qualifications:

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent 
• Completion of accredited CCMA Program 
• Completion of accredited NCT Radiology Program
• Medication administration. I.V. Therapy or current Medical Assistant Certification.  
• Must have active CCMA certification 
• Must be licensed by the State of Texas (TMB) as a non-certified technologist (NCT) 
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• 6 months’ medical clinic experience preferred
