Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Entry-Level Assembler to join a growing production team. In this role, you assemble components and products according to specifications, use hand and power tools, and help ensure that every item meets established quality standards. This position offers an excellent opportunity to start a career in manufacturing or production with room to grow into new roles over time.
Responsibilities- Assemble parts and components by following work instructions, diagrams, blueprints, schematics, and wiring layouts.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and other assembly equipment safely and effectively.
- Work on an assembly line to complete mechanical and electrical assembly tasks according to production schedules.
- Measure and align parts accurately using tools such as tape measures to ensure proper fit and function.
- Inspect finished products and assembled components for quality, accuracy, and adherence to specifications.
- Identify and report defects, issues, or irregularities in parts or assemblies to the supervisor promptly.
- Follow all safety guidelines, work instructions, and company procedures at all times.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area to support smooth production flow.
- Perform general labor tasks related to assembly and production as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and maintain a team-oriented work environment.
- Ability to follow detailed work instructions, diagrams, blueprints, and schematics for assembly tasks.
- Comfort using hand tools and power tools in a manufacturing or production setting.
- Basic mechanical assembly skills and understanding of mechanical and electrical components.
- Ability to work on an assembly line and perform repetitive tasks with consistent quality.
- Strong attention to detail when inspecting finished products for quality and accuracy.
- Basic measurement skills, including using a tape measure to verify dimensions.
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and company procedures reliably.
- Capability to maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Effective communication skills to report defects or issues promptly.
- Interest in starting or building a career in manufacturing or production.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fairmont, MN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
