Job Description
Our client is seeking a Probate & Trust Administration Paralegal with substantial California estate administration experience to support its boutique practice focused on probate, trusts, estate planning, and conservatorships.
Key Responsibilities
Manage California probate and trust administration matters from initiation through final distribution.
Prepare petitions, Judicial Council forms, pleadings, notices, inventories, deeds, transfer documents, and distribution documents.
Coordinate estate and trust asset collection, valuation, transfer, and distribution.
Communicate with clients, beneficiaries, financial institutions, title companies, accountants, and court personnel.
Track deadlines, maintain case files, and ensure efficient case progression.
Work closely with attorneys on legal research, case preparation, and client service.
Qualifications
10+ years of California probate and trust administration experience.
Ability to independently manage files with attorney oversight.
Strong organization, time management, written and verbal communication, and attention to detail.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal practice management software.
California conservatorship experience preferred.
