Job Description
Minimum 1+ years Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) experience and CNA certificate required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Play a key role supporting a medically fragile student in a dynamic and nurturing school setting. This contract position provides meaningful, one-on-one care and offers an opportunity to make a real impact throughout the academic year.
Schedule/Hours:
- Monday through Friday
- 7:15 AM – 2:30 PM
- August 27th – June 11th
Qualifications / Preferred Experience:
- Active CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) certification required
- Proven experience providing direct care, ideally with pediatric or medically fragile populations
- Demonstrated ability to assist with hygiene and feeding needs
- Compassionate, patient, and attentive to individualized care plans
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with school staff and parents
- Female candidates preferred for this case, per client request
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver attentive one-on-one care for a medically fragile high school student
- Assist with all hygiene and feeding needs as specified in the student's care plan
- Ensure safety, comfort, and dignity for the student at all times on campus
- Maintain detailed documentation of daily activities and care provided
- Collaborate closely with educators, nursing staff, and family members
- Participate in onsite interviews as part of the hiring process
This role is an excellent fit for CNAs dedicated to supporting pediatric clients and interested in the consistency of a regular daytime school schedule. You will not be required to ride the school bus.
