Certified Nursing Assistant in Farmington, CT

Minimum 1+ years Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) experience and CNA certificate required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Play a key role supporting a medically fragile student in a dynamic and nurturing school setting. This contract position provides meaningful, one-on-one care and offers an opportunity to make a real impact throughout the academic year.

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday through Friday
• 7:15 AM – 2:30 PM
• August 27th – June 11th

Qualifications / Preferred Experience:

• Active CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) certification required
• Proven experience providing direct care, ideally with pediatric or medically fragile populations
• Demonstrated ability to assist with hygiene and feeding needs
• Compassionate, patient, and attentive to individualized care plans
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with school staff and parents
• Female candidates preferred for this case, per client request

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver attentive one-on-one care for a medically fragile high school student
• Assist with all hygiene and feeding needs as specified in the student's care plan
• Ensure safety, comfort, and dignity for the student at all times on campus
• Maintain detailed documentation of daily activities and care provided
• Collaborate closely with educators, nursing staff, and family members
• Participate in onsite interviews as part of the hiring process

This role is an excellent fit for CNAs dedicated to supporting pediatric clients and interested in the consistency of a regular daytime school schedule. You will not be required to ride the school bus.
