Accounts Payable Specialist

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing manufacturing organization seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist for a contract opportunity. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with vendors and internal stakeholders, and has a strong understanding of high-volume AP processes within a manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and code vendor invoices accurately and efficiently
• Perform three-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receiving documents
• Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor inquiries
• Maintain vendor records and ensure compliance with company procedures
• Prepare and process weekly payment runs, including ACH and check payments
• Reconcile vendor statements and accounts payable balances
• Assist with month-end close activities, accruals, and account reconciliations
• Support audit requests by providing required documentation
• Collaborate with purchasing, receiving, production, and accounting teams to ensure timely invoice processing

Qualifications

• 3+ years of recent Accounts Payable experience
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment required
• Strong understanding of purchase orders, inventory transactions, and three-way matching
• Experience processing high-volume invoices with a high level of accuracy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems such as SAP, Epicor, Oracle, Dynamics, or similar systems
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Pay Details: $23.00 to $25.00 per hour
