Float School Nurse – RN

Location: St. Lucie, FL

A school district in St. Lucie is seeking a Registered Nurse to serve as a Float School Nurse, providing nursing support across multiple school sites. This is a fast-paced role ideal for an experienced nurse who can quickly adapt to different school environments and student needs.

Position Details:

• Full-time, school-based position
• Float between multiple schools as needed - Mileage between school locations will be reimbursed
• Fast-paced environment with varied student medical needs
• Provide care for students requiring catheters, tracheostomy care, and other complex medical needs
• Coach and support CNAs and LPNs
• School nursing experience is preferred; strong pediatric experience is required
• Med-Surg, PICU, or similar acute-care experience is also a strong fit for this role

Qualifications:

• Active Florida RN license
• Strong pediatric and/or school nursing experience
