PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the aviation industry to hire an experienced Structural Analysis Engineer for an exciting onsite opportunity in Everett or Renton, Washington.

Location: Onsite in Everett or Renton, WA
Job Type: Full-Time Consultant (3-Month Assignment)
Schedule: Monday-Friday | First Shift | 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: Starting at $68.23/hour
As a Structural Analysis Engineer, you'll support a highly respected aircraft structures organization focused on critical airframe components, including landing gear, aircraft doors, and flight deck or passenger windows.
In this role, you will evaluate structural performance, perform advanced engineering analyses, and contribute to solutions that help ensure aircraft meet the highest standards for safety, reliability, and operational excellence.
Your expertise will play a key role in supporting innovative aerospace programs from concept through implementation.
What You'll DoAs a member of a collaborative engineering team, you will:
- Perform structural analysis of aircraft components and systems.
- Support aircraft structures programs involving:
- Landing Gear
- Aircraft Doors
- Flight Deck Windows
- Passenger Windows
- Develop and execute structural analysis methodologies to evaluate design performance.
- Utilize finite element modeling and simulation tools to assess structural integrity and behavior.
- Interpret and verify engineering models and technical data.
- Collaborate with design engineers, manufacturing teams, and program stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
- Develop recommendations to improve structural performance, reliability, and safety.
- Communicate technical findings and analysis results to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Support engineering reviews, design validation activities, and problem-resolution initiatives.
- Identify project needs and proactively develop solutions with minimal direction.
- Bachelor of Science degree in:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Aerospace Engineering
- Aeronautical Engineering
- Civil Engineering (Structural Emphasis)
- Materials Science
- Degree from an ABET-accredited university.
- 8+ years of related structural analysis experience
- Experience supporting aircraft structural analysis programs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced engineering environment.

- Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools such as:
- NASTRAN
- PATRAN
- ABAQUS
- HyperMesh
- CATIA, ENOVIA, or similar 3D modeling tools for model interrogation and verification
- engineering applications including:
- IAS
- CSW
- SA
- Related aerospace engineering tools
- Technical problem-solving across complex structural systems
- Cross-functional engineering collaboration

Pay Details: $68.23 per hour
