School Occupational Therapist | Brighton, Colorado

This contract role offers an excellent opportunity for a licensed OT to deliver crucial support and assessments to elementary, middle, and high school students, helping them achieve their academic and functional goals.

What You’ll Need:

• Active Occupational Therapy license
• Strong understanding of school-based OT practices and protocols
• Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in educational settings
• Familiarity with conducting evaluations, writing reports, and developing IEP goals
• Comfortable collaborating in multidisciplinary teams and supporting diverse caseloads
• Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills

Role Highlights:

• Provide direct OT services onsite at various schools for students from elementary through high school
• Conduct overflow evaluations, supporting assessment needs as they arise across assigned sites
• Collaborate with educators, administration, and families to create and implement individualized OT interventions
• Maintain clear, timely records and contribute to IEP meetings or team discussions
• Support students with a wide range of needs, tailoring interventions to promote school participation, sensory regulation, and fine/gross motor skill development
• Schedule: 36 hours weekly, Tuesday to Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM, following the academic calendar through May 20th, 2027
