Job Description
Make a positive impact on students’ lives by providing occupational therapy services in an engaging school environment! This contract role offers an excellent opportunity for a licensed OT to deliver crucial support and assessments to elementary, middle, and high school students, helping them achieve their academic and functional goals.
What You’ll Need:
- Active Occupational Therapy license
- Strong understanding of school-based OT practices and protocols
- Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in educational settings
- Familiarity with conducting evaluations, writing reports, and developing IEP goals
- Comfortable collaborating in multidisciplinary teams and supporting diverse caseloads
- Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills
Role Highlights:
- Provide direct OT services onsite at various schools for students from elementary through high school
- Conduct overflow evaluations, supporting assessment needs as they arise across assigned sites
- Collaborate with educators, administration, and families to create and implement individualized OT interventions
- Maintain clear, timely records and contribute to IEP meetings or team discussions
- Support students with a wide range of needs, tailoring interventions to promote school participation, sensory regulation, and fine/gross motor skill development
- Schedule: 36 hours weekly, Tuesday to Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM, following the academic calendar through May 20th, 2027
